Norrænu ljóstæknifélögin vinna nú að undirbúningi á vandaðri bók um lýsingarhönnun á Norðurlöndunum. Í bókinni verða sagt frá og sýndar myndir af 25 af bestu verkefnunum í hverju landi, verkefnum sem sýna notkun hönnuðanna og túlkun á norrænu ljósi.
Hvernig verkefni er hægt að tilnefna?
Í bókinni verða verkefni frá tímabilinu 2000-2010. Leitað er eftir verkefnum sem nýta dagsljós, innanhússlýsingu eða utanhússlýsingu. Stærð verkefnis skiptir ekki máli en mikilvægt er að hönnuðurinn sé fæddur í eða búsettur í einu af Norðurlöndunum og verkefnið sé í norrænu landi.
Skil á tilnefningum:
Í tilefningu skal eftirfarandi koma fram: Heiti verkefnis, dags. þegar verkið var tekið í notkun, arkitekt, lýsingarhönnuður, eigandi/verktaki, staðsetning, lýsing á verkefni, stutt max. 200 stafir og lengri lýsing max 5000 stafir (lýsing á hönnunarlausn og tæknilegt yfirlit). Aðrar upplýsingar sem geta komið að gagni auk 2-3 mynda af verkefninu sem sendast með á jpg sniði. Að lokum þurfa að koma fram samskiptaupplýsingar um hönnuðu og arkitekt.
Mikilvægt er að senda inn tillögur að verkum í bókina í síðasta lagi 15. júní 2010.

Dear architects, lighting designers and artists,
We are Nordlys, the committee of the lighting design organizations in the Nordic region. At the moment we are working on collecting architectural and lighting design projects for a book we are compiling right now. It is a brand new book about lighting design in architecture in the Nordic countries covering 25 projects based on interviews and pictures. The best contemporary projects from each of the Nordic countries - Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway - will illustrate the designers' use and interpretation of the Nordic light.
In order to publish a broad range of projects we decided to collect them through an open announcement. This is not a competition. The editors are interested in getting an overview over all the relevant projects, so everyone would have an equal chance to appear in the book. If you are interested to be concidered, please send us back the questionnaire attached to this mail with all the necessary information and 2-3 pictures in jpg formate per project.
This book is only focusing on projects made from 2000 to 2010 and covering both daylight and artificial lighting, lighting in urban spaces and interiour. Your project can be of any size and budget. What is the most important is that you come from or work in one of the Nordic countries and your project is built here as well. Eventual participation in the book is free of charge.
We will appreciate if you will send us all relevant materials latest 15.th of june 2010.
The book is conceived as a recurring publication. Every third year the book’s new version will be released with new projects focusing on the uniqueness of the Nordic lighting design.
